The project “Sympathy Train” which is organized by 3 Rotary Clubs was cancelled because of several reasons. However, in 27.11.2008, the winter coats and shoes were donated for Şehit Metin Arslantürk Elementary School's students instead of “Sympathy Train” project. Our club provided 50 winter coats and 50 per shoes for students. Our club also learned that there are lots of students from neighbor villages who go to Özören village Şehit Metin Arslantürk elementary school. Also the project was very helpful to determine other needs of elementary school. As a result of this, we have a new Matching Grant Project. The goal of this project is to restore the school classrooms and library; also we would like to provide computers, projection and books for school's library.
